Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, titled Absolute Doom, introduces a dark and thrilling new era as Marvel’s infamous villain, Doctor Doom, seizes control of the Battle Royale Island. Wielding the ancient power of Pandora’s Box, Doctor Doom has transplanted his Latverian kingdom onto the Island, bringing his army of loyal henchmen and setting up several new Points of Interest (POIs). Players must rally their forces to stop Doom before his empowered armor is completed and he gains total control.
New POIs: Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft
Doctor Doom’s influence has reshaped the Island with several new POIs:
Castle Doom
The imposing Castle Doom looms over the Island, its forge working tirelessly to complete Doom’s impervious new armor. Players can explore this area to face off against Doom’s henchmen and uncover powerful loot.
Doomstadt
A seemingly peaceful village under the iron rule of Doctor Doom, Doomstadt is a place of both beauty and fear. This area also includes the Fractured Four Landmark, adding more depth to the exploration experience.
The Raft
Summoned by Doctor Doom, The Raft is a notorious prison housing supervillains and extraterrestrial threats. Players can capture this location and defeat powerful enemies, including the pristine Emma Frost, to claim Mythic weapons and medallions.
New Weapons and Gear: War Machine’s Arsenal, Sovereign Shotgun, and More
To combat Doctor Doom and his forces, players can now equip themselves with new and unvaulted weapons:
Dual Micro SMGs
Gwenpool’s potent pink Mythic version of these dual-wielded SMGs offers unmatched firepower.
War Machine’s Arsenal
Featuring the Auto Turret and Hover Jets, this cutting-edge arsenal allows players to unleash devastating attacks from both ground and air.
Sovereign Shotgun
This new lever-action shotgun is perfect for precise, high-damage shots, with a Mythic version available after defeating Mysterio.
Unvaulted Gear: Captain America’s Shield and Doom’s Gauntlets
Returning from the Endgame LTM in Chapter 1, Captain America’s Shield has been unvaulted and enhanced with new capabilities, including a shield-charge and blocking while sliding or jumping. Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets are also back, now featuring increased attack speed and damage, and can be obtained by defeating the Doombot in Castle Doom.
Battle Pass: Absolute Doom
Unlock epic rewards with the Absolute Doom Battle Pass for just 950 V-Bucks. Players can earn up to 1,500 V-Bucks back by leveling up, alongside new super-themed Outfits:
