GTA 6 Release Date: Earlier this year, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed the launch of one of the highly anticipated video games, Grand Auto Theft VI. The gamers have been excited about the releases since the announcement, however, the SAG-AFTRA voice actor strikes have generated concern among the fans about the release.

In July 2024, Hollywood’s video game artists and performers called for a strike under the Screen Actors Guild- American Federation of Television & Radio Artists over AI protections disturbing the proceedings of many leading video game projects.
Following the SAG-AFTRA strike, the gamers or GTA fans who were eagerly waiting for the GTA VI launch thought it would be delayed until 2026 as the release of the sixth version of GTA was scheduled to be released in the autumn of 2025. The GTA VI fans can experience the open world of GTA by the autumn of 2025 on PS 5 and Xbox series, however, the gamers who play on game pass have to wait for the release of the PC version of GTA 6.
According to the Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick interviews, Microsoft is pushing for a high-profile Xbox Day-one game pass like Call of Duty Black Ops 6, however, Zelnick is against the policy as the day-one Game pass has a short-term benefit for the subscription services. This means there will be no game pass for GTA VI for the time being.
The fans have to wait a couple of years for the highly anticipated sequel of GTA on the PV version via Game Pass. may be till 2026. The exact timeline of GTA 6 may be revealed in its upcoming trailers, the last trailer was released on the 25th anniversary of the company in December 2023, and the fans can expect the new trailer in September 2024.

Grand Auto Theft takes gamers to an open world set within the state of Leonida (Florida) and Vice City (Miami-inspired). The protagonists of the story are Lucia and Jason, the criminal duo, and the story revolves around their adventure.
The GTA 6 trailers continue with Lucia being in prison and Jason in some convenience store using new vision abilities. The game features the wild and vibrant life of Vice-city, we can see the Malibu club and beaches (Ocean Drive) in the released trailer.
The upcoming GTA VI will feature the live-streaming version of Tik Tok displaying the digital life, and enhancing the experience of the game as it will resonate more with the real world.

The GTA 6 price can be higher than the previous versions, however, the gamers can expect the prices still lower from other games as Rockstar games prices are lower compared to other games.

The Take-Two CEO has mentioned this in his interviews as they offer high-hour engagement, the company offers per-hour price to increase engagement of the game and offer better quality to the gamers. However, there is no official announcement of such pricing for GTA 6, so we cannot say it is final.
